Approximately 52 officials and staff of Pangasinan State University arrived at the Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology on July 28 for a benchmarking activity and were welcomed by the President of MinsCAT himself, Dr. Jesse Zamora.
The said activity was spearheaded by the Office of the President and Office of the VP for Administration that aims to achieve quality management by foreseeing the performance of the benchmarked school so that ideals obtain could help one another in dealing with the advancement of knowledge that the society requires today.
PSU officials and staff led by Dr. Virgilio C. Barongan, VP for Administration graced the event. All concerned officials of PSU included the Office of the President, Office of the Vice President for Administration, Chief Administrative Officer, Directors for Human Resource and Development Office, Public Relations, Publication and Information Office, Planning Office, Records Office, Procurement Office, Engineering Office, and Assessment Office.
The benchmarking activity also included a campus tour in the library, clinic, classrooms and offices that will further help in the advancement of plans and ideas of PSU.
However, games were conducted and utilized in the team building activity to improve team effectiveness beyond the traditional concept of team building. Some of the games and activities included longest line, hat relay, Pass around the bottle and videoke challenge.
