Friday, December 18, 2020, 1:30 PM at the Telesforo Boquiren Convention Hall, the Faculty Association headed by Hon. Regent Elmer Vingua with the Student Regent, Ms. Je-Ann De Vera in collaboration with the University officials headed by Dr. Dexter R. Buted organized the distribution of tablets to CEDs. CEDs will later on hand in these to qualified faculty members and selected deserving students in their campuses.
Dr. Vingua echoed during his opening message that, “Aking hinihikayat ang lahat ng mga empleyado na makakatanggap ng naturang tablets na lalong paghusayin at pagbutihin ang serbisyo at kalidad ng edukasyon sa kabila ng bagong normal.
”Said tablets were part of the solution crafted by the University in the implementation of the flexible learning. In line with this, six hundred thirty six (636) tablets were given out to the nine (9) campuses through their respective Campus Executive Directors and two hundred fifty (250) were allotted for the deserving selected students.
The University is continuously finding ways to further enhance the enforcement of flexible learning mechanisms. As such, through flexible learning environment, the University aims to optimize student-teacher learning and teaching without compromising the intended competency-based learning outcomes despite the challenges we are facing.
