To strengthen the risk management system of Pangasinan State University Binmaley Campus, an On-Site Campus Risk Management Workshop was conducted on March 19, 2021 (Friday) at the PSU Binmaley Campus Library.

In conformance to the requirement of the ISO 9001 2015 standard, there is a need to strengthen the risk management capabilities of the focal person and process owners in the four (4) risk categories identified by the University (Disaster, Technology, Financial and Health and Security Risk).

The output for this workshop will be the comprehensive risk management plan of the campus for each risk category that will truly be functional in addressing all possible threats that would impede the normal processes in the campus. 

There are four (4) focal persons that were identified namely: Dr. David Livingstone Ramos for technology risk; Mr. Rey Raguindin for disaster risk; Mr. Jonathan R. Jose for health and security risk; and lastly Ms. Ma. Lourdes Cerezo for the financial risk. 

This workshop was spearheaded by the Vice President for Quality Assurance Dr. Elbert M. Galas together with the Director for Institutional Assessment and Accreditation Dr. Weenalei Fajardo and the Director for Risk Management Dr. Grace Suratos. It was supported by the Campus Executive Director of PSU Binmaley Campus Dr. Roy C. Ferrer together with Mr. Geronimo Rosario, Coordinator for Quality Assurance and was attended by all focal persons and process owners in the different identified risk categories of the campus.
