Aiming to have a better performance result in the Fisheries Board Exam, the PSU BSF graduates of the Binmaley Campus are accorded Free Review. This is an annual conduct of the Fisheries Department as support to our alumni. The said review exhibits a strong correlation between their academic performance and the Fisheries Professionals Board Exam results as noted in our annual data. A significant and favorable association between their performance in the licensure examination and their grade weighted average has been remarkably noted. This demonstrates the University’s efficient teaching methods among faculty members. The active participation and motivation of all students and the unselfish sharing of expertise and knowledge of faculty reviewees however, are the core components that make each review session effective.

The assessment and graduates’ FPBE performance necessitate a detailed evaluation on the strategies, tactics, procedures, and evaluation instruments are used in the FPBE review being conducted in the university. This endeavor will be a part of the BSF Program Calendar of Activities to be able to produce more passers and topnotchers in the Licensure Board Exam for Fisheries Technologists. Despite pandemic, an online review is conducted to be able to reach out to all our BSF alumni.

The said online review has started on July 30, 2022, and will end on August 28, 2022. This activity was initiated by the College Dean, Dr. Rosie S. Abalos, Chairperson, Dr. Sotero M. Aban and approved by the Campus Executive Director, Dr. Roy C. Ferrer. Assistant Professor Jennie B. Fernandez serves as the Officer-in-Charge for the online review. A short program was held on the first day attended by all paricipants, board topnotchers, alumni and other industry practitioners. Faculty members of the College share their expertise in this worthy endeavor.
