As part of the National Women’s Celebration, the Office of Student Alumni Affairs, in collaboration with the Gender and Development Office, decided to hold a cosplay contest, portraying notable Filipinas in the history of the Philippines.

The activity was scheduled last March 23, 2022, from ten o’clock in the morning to four o’clock in the afternoon at Don Telesfero N. Boquiren Convention Hall, Pangasinan State University, Lingayen Campus, Lingayen, Pangasinan. 

Hence, each campus is hereby advised to send one (1) participant for the cosplay contest, following the guidelines and mechanics attached in the advisory. Each participant was assigned to portray a certain FIlipina, such as Gabriela Silang for Alaminos City, Campus, Gloria Diaz for Asingan Campus, Lea Salonga for Bayambang Campus, Liza Macuja for Infanta Campus, Corazon Aquino for Lingayen Campus, Hidilyn Diaz for San Carlos Campus, Ana Patricia Non for Sta. Maria Campus, and Maria Ressa for Urdaneta Campus. Lastly, the Binmaley Campus, which is represented by Khyla Mae Caole, a first-year student from the College of Criminal Justice Education, portrays the Iron Lady of Asia, Miriam Santiago. #PSUnian #IronLady
