Pangasinan State University is guided by a planning process that is progressive in nature . Aware of the need to think and plan ahead, the formulation of a Strategic Plan cannot be ignored.
A strategic plan was crafted by PSU along with a group of experts on the environment and solid waste management to ensure compliance to all existing rules and regulations.
University President Dr. Dexter R. Buted stated that salient points are needed to be identified as these will integrated in the revision of the annual operational plans.
Among the salient points discussed were: to ensure the alignment of strategies with programs, projects and activities. The Strat Plan members also identified specific strategies for the PPAs and included actual data for key performance indicators (KPIs) for Pollution Source and Control Management and Waste Management.
The PSU Administration believes that data allows the University to establish baselines, benchmarks, and goals to keep moving forward.
